but I just never had the time! m(__)m
Sheryl Nome Microphone Tutorial
Equipment:(I usually use the things around me at the time)
•Small Cylinder type object (I used a cheap recorder and broke it up;;;)
•Gold Spray Paint
•Toilet Paper Rolls (They're so useful!!!!)
•Strips of Paper
Method: *I am going to do this EXACTLY how I did it, meaning with the messed up recorder) It probably isn't the best way to do it, but oh well! :)*
1. *If your cylinder shape does not have uneven bits ignore step 1.*
With the uneven bits, get a toilet roll, cut it in half and glue it around recorder to make it even.
At the top end of the cylinder use the toilet roll to make a top to the cylinder.
Now, weave paper around the main body of the microphone.
Re-curl more rolls around the top & base of the microphone.
5.Get some yellow ribbon and a circular piece of cardboard which will fit at the bottom of the microphone *where there is a hole.
Make a hole in the middle of the circular piece of cardboard and slide the ribbon through so it makes a loop. Glue this so it stays in place.
6.Make a small rectangular box *made of cardboard* and stick it at the top of the microphone.
7. Time for the fun! Spray painting!
Spray paint the microphone.
And your done!
*TIP: If you want your microphone to look extra shiny, use book cover contact over the microphone and spray paint it again!* (I did this)
