Hello!
Sorry this is rather late,
but I just never had the time! m(__)m

Sheryl Nome Microphone Tutorial

Equipment:(I usually use the things around me at the time)
•Small Cylinder type object (I used a cheap recorder and broke it up;;;)
•Cardboard
•Gold Spray Paint
•Toilet Paper Rolls (They're so useful!!!!)
•Glue Gun
•Strips of Paper
•Yellow ribbon

Method: *I am going to do this EXACTLY how I did it, meaning with the messed up recorder) It probably isn't the best way to do it, but oh well! :)*
1. *If your cylinder shape does not have uneven bits ignore step 1.*

With the uneven bits, get a toilet roll, cut it in half and glue it around recorder to make it even.
2.
At the top end of the cylinder use the toilet roll to make a top to the cylinder.
3.
Now, weave paper around the main body of the microphone.
4.
Re-curl more rolls around the top & base of the microphone.
5.Get some yellow ribbon and a circular piece of cardboard which will fit at the bottom of the microphone *where there is a hole.
Make a hole in the middle of the circular piece of cardboard and slide the ribbon through so it makes a loop. Glue this so it stays in place.

6.Make a small rectangular box *made of cardboard* and stick it at the top of the microphone.

7. Time for the fun! Spray painting!
Spray paint the microphone.

And your done!

*TIP: If you want your microphone to look extra shiny, use book cover contact over the microphone and spray paint it again!* (I did this)

Tutorial: Misa Amane Blades
2011-06-10 Fri 20:12

Okay so, this is a tutorial on making these blades! Alot of people have asked so.. I will try to remember my best on how I made them..
but truth is I found random things from the garage and used them .///.

You will need:
•Foam Core
•Black Spray Paint
•Toilet rolls (lol)
•Black Paint
•Glue Gun
•Nuts [metal]
•Nails
•Stanley Knife (optional)
•Press Studs [is what I used but you could use hooker knives]
And this other weird joining thing, which I have no idea what it is, so sorry!!

Method:
1.
Cut out foam core in the shapes of the weapons59435_148934158471128_100000636357604_283079_4847942_n.jpg

2.
Lay weapons out on tray and spray paint it black. [I would do this outside!!]
~Let them dry~
You can now get the toilet rolls, cut one side out, paint them black. (so place on desk standing up and cut a line going ^ so you can fit your arm in it. Remember it is supposed to over lap when you put it on over your wrist, if it doesn't add another cut out piece of toilet roll to it by using a glue gun)

3.
Glue Press Studs on arm bands (toilet rolls) so you can connect them on your wrist.
Accessorize arm band by gluing on nuts or studs, if you have them.[I made 4 arm bands]

4.
Glue the knife pieces into place the way you like them, and put in a nail and a bolt so it looks as if its connected by the nail and bolt.

5.
This is the part with the thing that I don't know the name of!!
HEres some pics of it!:lklk.jpg

Anyway, get 2 of those... /shot/ (OR With the next step you could use the same method)
Glue the [lets call it metal holder] to the arm band. Then, make a small hole at the end of the arm blades [where it will connect] and then nail and screw in through the metal holder holes and the arm blade's hole so it's connected.
[not sure if that made sense.]

6.
[step 7 was only for the front bands]
The back bands where the 2nd part of the blades will connect was joined differently on mine because I only had 2 metal holders.

I cut out 2 rectangular pieces of foam core and spray painted them. Then a small hole. [there has to be a small hole in the same area where we are connecting the arm blades. (this is a tricky bit)
I then held the end of the arm blades to the back bands by hot glue and quickly placed the 2 rectangular pieces [with glue] on each side of the arm blade. then applied more glue. After that I attached a nail through the holes and attached a nut at the back.

7.
We are pretty much done!
After that accessorize with chains and rings!

For other pieces of the costume you would like help on ask~!
~Sorry if this was hard to understand!!
